Apple To Build Battery-Based Solar Energy Storage Facility In California Apple has announced that it’s building a battery-based renewable energy storage facility in Central California. The new plant will be located next to an existing solar energy installation which already provides energy for all of Apple’s facilities in the state. NIPSCO And Capital Dynamics Sign 200 MW Solar Energy Build Transfer Agreement Northern Indiana Public Service Company and the Clean Energy Infrastructure business of Capital Dynamics announced that they have signed a build transfer agreement to bring 200 megawatts of solar energy to Indiana with the Elliot Solar project. |
LATIN AMERICAStatkraft To Build First Windfarms In Chile The 102 MW Torsa project comprises three windfarms totaling 19 turbines supplied by German manufacturer Nordex. In total, the windfarms are expected to produce more than 300 GWh of energy annually, which Statkraft says is enough to power 100,000 households.
